Rs 5,398m allocated to hill torrents projects

In a handout here, he said that in this regard, work has been started on the project and Rs 5,398 million has been allocated for hill torrents management.

He said that the project costing Rs 1,605 million have been approved for hill torrents management of Kohra, Dahwa, and Sanghar. Similarly, Rs 717 million have been approved for Kohra and Rs 3076 million have also been allocated for hill torrents management of Sorilund, Chahar, Vidore and Mithawan in Dera Ghazi Khan, he added.

He said, after the completion of these projects, thousands acres of barren land can be cultivated with the water of Hill Torrents which will be a good addition in agriculture products.
