- Himmat Card Program

The Himmat Card Program, a flagship initiative worth Rs. 2.6 billion, was launched to provide financial assistance to persons with disabilities (PWDs) categorized as “not fit to work.” In the first phase, Rs. 10,500 was disbursed to 40,000 deserving beneficiaries in October 2024. The second phase is underway, targeting an additional 25,000 individuals. By the program’s completion, financial aid will have reached a total of 65,000 beneficiaries, symbolizing Punjab’s commitment to fostering an inclusive and compassionate society.
