B’tan govt implements minimum wage of Rs37,000 for labourers

QUETTA: Balochistan government has officially started implementing the new minimum wage for workers setting it at Rs37,000 per month.

Balochistan Department of Labour and Manpower said the wage hike will benefit a broad spectrum of employees, including small-grade workers, and labourers in commercial and industrial sectors.

Even child labourers will be entitled to the same minimum wage, ensuring wider protection for vulnerable groups.
