KARACHI: On Friday at PMEX, the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR22.979 billion and the number of lots traded was 18,715.

Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 11.982 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 3.439billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.891 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.669 billion), Silver (PKR 1.623 billion), Platinum (PKR 1.212 billion), Natural Gas (PKR 375.872 million), DJ (PKR 356.497 million), Copper (PKR 148.593 million), SP 500 (PKR 128.316 million), Palladium (PKR 56.777 million), Japan Equity (PKR 56.701 million) and Brent (PKR 38.162 million).

In Agricultural commodities,12lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 15.402 million were traded.
