KARACHI: On Wednesday at PMEX, the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 22.925 billion and the number of lots traded was 21,943.

Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR8.772 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 4.841 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 3.542 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 2.878 billion), DJ (PKR 755.52 million), Platinum (PKR 695.024 million), Silver (PKR 548.912 million), Japan Equity (PKR 318.892 million), Natural Gas (PKR 302.488 million), Palladium (PKR 104.196 million), SP 500 (PKR 94.990 million), Copper (PKR 37.768 million) and Brent (PKR 32.743 million).

In Agricultural commodities, 10 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 32.138 million were traded.
