LONDON: European stock markets advanced at the open on Monday after a mixed session in Asia.

In initial deals, London’s benchmark FTSE 100 index added 0.8 percent to stand at 7,352.99 points.

In the eurozone, Frankfurt’s DAX index won 0.7 percent to 14,783.66 points and the Paris CAC 40 gained 0.5 percent to 6,830.10.
