KARACHI: Gold prices on Thursday posted a big gain on the local market, traders said.
The precious metal surged by Rs2900 and Rs2486 to Rs211350 per tola and Rs181198 per 10 grams, separately.
Silver was traded for Rs2550 per tola and Rs2186.21 per 10 grams. The global silver prices were quoted for $23.17 an ounce.
On the world market, gold price stood for $1990 per ounce with adding on a $20 premium for the local bullion trade, traders said.
