KARACHI: On Wednesday at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 20.699 billion and the number of lots traded was 17,506.

Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 8.101 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 4.933 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 2.607 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 2.526 million), DJ (PKR 623.273 million), Platinum (PKR 493.005 million), Silver (PKR 479.076 million), SP 500 (PKR 341.033 million), Japan Equity (PKR 197.117 million), Natural Gas (PKR 169.388 million), Copper (PKR 163.777 million) and Brent (PKR 64.365 million).

In Agricultural commodities, 13 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 26.878 million was traded.
