KARACHI: On Wednesday at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 18.561 billion and the number of lots traded was 14,474.

Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 8.264 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 4.745 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 2.401 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.167 billion), Platinum (PKR 743.518 million), DJ (PKR 698.353 million), Silver (PKR 236.376 million), Natural Gas (PKR 116.474 million), Japan Equity (PKR 74.531 million), SP 500 (PKR 71.553 million), Brent (PKR 21.034 million) and Copper (PKR 50.242 million).

In Agricultural commodities, 6 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 49.724 million were traded.
