KARACHI: Managing Director and CEO of EBM Dr Zeelaf Munir inspires to cultivate quality leadership during ‘Leaders in Islamabad Business Summit 23’

During the ongoing 6th edition of Leaders in Islamabad Business Summit (LIIBS), Zeelaf Munir led an inspiring session on the dire need for leadership and major ‘Rethink’ for the better tomorrow of Pakistan.

This year the conference focused on the theme #THEBIGRETHINK, where corporate & public sector leaders gathered to reanalyse business practices, re-evaluate ideas, and rethink strategies for a brighter future of Pakistan. The summit is one of the most prominent corporate events, where leaders from the public sector, corporate organisations and civil society connect together.

While addressing the participants, Dr Zeelaf said that now is the best time to talk about Rethink and focus on quality leadership rather than management. She believed that despite the crunch situation, future leaders have to power to steer it to success; “Pakistan is a land of opportunities. We need to keep faith in its resilience and join hands for the growth of its economy and market growth.”

For aspiring business leaders who want to venture into entrepreneurship, Dr Zeelaf advised integrating Rethink to build an effective workforce with a strong mindset. She also shared the need to retain young talent, and how positive leadership has the duty to combat this challenge.

Zeelaf Munir came out as an example of resilient Pakistani leadership, as she has vowed not to back down in front of the challenges. She set the tone for the conference, and for young business leaders and all sectors to join hands and work on solutions for future success.

The LLIBS 23’ featured some of the most prominent names, including Chairman Martin Dow Group Ali Akhai, CEO of Unity Foods Farrukh Amin, Managing Partner Middle East of SoftBank Investment Advisers Faisal Rehman, Group CEO VEON Kaan Terzioglu, Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal, Federal Minister for Power Khurram Dastgir Khan, and Former Minister of State & Chairman Board of Investment Azfar Ahsan.
