KARACHI: Silver prices on Thursday touched the new highs but gold fell a little on the local market, traders said.
Silver prices grew by Rs30 to the historic highs of Rs2550 per tola and Rs25.71 to Rs2186.21 per 10 grams.
Gold prices declined by Rs500 to Rs217500 per tola and Rs429 to Rs186471 per 10 grams.
On the world market, gold prices stood for $2027 per ounce and silver $25.68 per ounce, traders said.
