KARACHI: On Monday at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 17.481 billion and the number of lots traded at 17,236.

Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 5.928 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 5.198 billion), Crude (PKR 1.995 billion), NSDQ100 (PKR 1.434 billion), Silver (PKR 850.722 million), DJ (PKR 710.508 million), Natural Gas (PKR 528.718 million), Platinum (PKR 462.47 million), Copper (PKR 225.088 million), SP500 (PKR 124.354 million), Brent (PKR 18.300 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 6.296 million).

In Agricultural Commodities, 9 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 7.966 million were traded.
