KARACHI: On Tuesday at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 14.491 billion and the number of lots traded at 11,690. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 4.859 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 3.013 billion), NSDQ100 (PKR 2.636 billion), Crude (PKR 1.118 billion), DJ (PKR 766.056 million), Silver (PKR 733.162 million), Natural Gas (PKR 555.523 million), Platinum (PKR 295.65 million), Copper (PKR 277.973 million), SP500 (PKR 169.744 million), Japan Equity (PKR 66.502 million) and Brent (PKR 1.224 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 17 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 30.068 million were traded.
