KARACHI: On Friday at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 19.570 billion and the number of lots traded at 14,105.

Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 7.728 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 (PKR 4.838 billion), Currencies through COTS (PKR 3.021 billion), Silver (PKR 1.122 billion), DJ (PKR 14.114 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 909.925 million), SP 500 (PKR 397.612 million), Platinum (PKR 170.417 million), Natural Gas (PKR 100.273 million), Copper (PKR 76.957 million), Brent (PKR 57.541 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 35.241 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 19 lot of Cotton amounting to PKR 42.102 million were traded.
