KARACHI: Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) and Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) organised a participation of four companies’ delegation of tour operators and a hotels chain from Pakistan in the 16th Edition of the International Travel Expo, Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam, 2022 (ITE HCMC) from 8th to 10th September, 2022.

The International Travel Expo is the largest annual international travel fair in Vietnam which provides a platform to connect businesses, and exchange and promote transactions between exhibitors and potential buyers.

The Pakistani companies from the tourism and hospitality sector, who were participating in the fair for the first time, had various B2B meetings with major tour operators in Vietnam as well as numerous international buyers, during first and the second day of the event.

Furthermore, Pakistani businesses were also successful in generating awareness among the Vietnamese tourists about Pakistan specifically with reference to Buddhist and Adventure tourism as the third day was open for general public.
