ISLAMABAD: President Dr Arif Alvi said that climate change and global warming are accelerating glacial melting, particularly, affecting Gilgit-Baltistan region.

The president expressed these views during a meeting with Gilgit-Baltistan Governor Syed Mehdi Shah who called on him on Tuesday.
