KATI chief lauds Sindh govt’s efforts to clear Korangi causeway

KARACHI: Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) President Salman Aslam and CEO KITE Limited Zubair Chhaya lauded the efforts of the Sindh government to clear Korangi causeway after torrential rains and flooding in Karachi.

They specially appreciated the efforts of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Chief Secretary Dr Sohail Rajput, Commissioner Karachi Muhammad Iqbal Memon, Deputy Commissioner Korangi Muhammad Ali Zaidi, and Sindh Local Government Secretary Najam Ahmad Shah. They said due to these steps flow of traffic restored in the affected area as the roads of Korangi Industrial Area were completely closed.

President KATI said that millions of people commute to Korangi Industrial Area for employment and they were facing many difficulties due to rainwater which was cleared by the Sindh government.

He hoped that the Sindh government would continue to take all possible steps to alleviate the problems faced by the industrialists and the workers. Salman Aslman also said that the Sindh government officials gave up their Eid-ul-Azha engagements and worked tirelessly to solve the problems of the industrial area which is commendable.
