‘Pakistan-Iran trade and economic ties to be strengthened’

LAHORE: Over the time, trade and economic relations will be further strengthened between Pakistan and Iran, and cooperation between the business community of both communities and neighbouring countries needs to be enhanced.

These views were expressed by Mohammad Reza Nazeri, Consul General of Iran, while meeting with the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Regional Chairman Muhammad Nadeem Qureshi and FPCCI members here at FPCCI Regional Office Lahore.

On occasion, Muhammad Nadeem Qureshi said that the barter trade between the two countries is essential and needs time. He suggested that Pak -Iran business exhibitions should be organized to promote bilateral trade and positive and immediate steps are needed to promote Pak -Iran trade.

Nadeem Qureshi assured that the FPCCI would play a vital role in resolving the business community’s problems between the two countries.
