KARACHI: On Tuesday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 16.814 billion and the number of lots traded at 14,861.

Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 4.456 billion, followed by Crude Oil (PKR 3.882 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 3.330 billion), Currencies through COTS (PKR 1.831 billion), DJ (PKR 1.473 billion), Silver (PKR 828.863 million), SP 500 (PKR 511.116 million), Natural Gas (PKR 226.346 million), Platinum (PKR 179.044 million), Copper (PKR 79.865 million), Japan Equity (PKR 10.825 million) and Brent (PKR 4.743 million).

In Agricultural Commodities, 4 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 5.565 million were traded.
