PM seeks masses’ support ahead of ‘power show’

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan Thursday appealed to the nation to support him on March 27 in Islamabad power show for sending a message that the country stands with the good and against the evil, so that no one can dare to damage the democracy and the nation through horse trading.

In a brief televised message to the nation, the premier started his message with a verse (Amr Bil Maroof Wa Nahi Anil Munkar) of the holy Quran, and stated that God commands the Muslims to stand with the good and fight the evil because “this is a sign of a live society.”

He said that for the last 30 years, a gang of dacoits has been plundering the country’s wealth and stashing it abroad and now the same gang is openly buying public representatives through offering bribes.

He appealed to the nation to come out with him on March 27 and convey a message that they oppose the crime against democracy, a people and against the nation.

The premier said that the nation is against what buying of the conscience of public representatives with the stolen money.

He said that all of Pakistan must know that that no would ever had the courage to damage democracy and nation through horse trading.
