KARACHI: On Wednesday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 14.098 billion and the number of lots traded at 12,390. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 5.713 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 3.147 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 2.036 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.005 billion), Silver (PKR 913.728 million), DJ (PKR 713.286 million), Platinum (PKR 167.416 million), SP 500 (PKR 144.859 million), Natural Gas (PKR 120.883 million), Japan Equity (PKR 80.514 million) and Copper (PKR 55.823 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 7 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 8.372 million were traded.
