KARACHI: On Monday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 12.610 billion and the number of lots traded at 13,694.

Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 3.674 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 2.058 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.999 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.757 billion), Silver (PKR 1.049 billion), DJ (PKR 906.206 million), Platinum (PKR 672.183 million), Copper (PKR 178.890 million), SP 500 (PKR 169.620 million), Natural Gas (PKR 121.896 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 22.618 million). In Agricultural commodities, one lot of Cotton amounting to PKR 1.055 million was traded.
