KARACHI: On Wednesday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 20.568 billion and the number of lots traded at 20,571. Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 8.651 billion, followed by Crude Oil (PKR 4.016 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 2.578 billion), Currencies through COTS (PKR 1.809 billion), Silver (PKR 1.332 billion), DJ (PKR 1.012 billion), Platinum (PKR 524.676 million), Copper (PKR 278.957 million), SP 500 (PKR 199.621 million), Natural Gas (PKR 92.480 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 71.498 million). In Agricultural commodities, one lot of Cotton amounting to PKR 1.052 million was traded.
