KARACHI: On Wednesday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 11.672 billion and the number of lots traded 13,385.

Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 3.756 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 (PKR 3.056 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 2.345 billion), Currencies through COTS (PKR 1.536 billion), DJ (PKR 1.105 billion), Platinum (PKR 763.721 million), Silver (PKR 365.661 million), Copper (PKR 158.940 million), SP 500 (PKR 131.388 million), Natural Gas (PKR 127.299 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 38.459 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 2 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 2.142 million were traded.
