KARACHI: On Friday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 13.843 billion and the number of lots traded at 13,007.

Major business was contributed by NSDQ 100 amounting to PKR 4.668 billion, followed by Gold (PKR 3.883 billion), Currencies through COTS (PKR 1.664 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.265 billion), Platinum (PKR 661.648 million), Silver (PKR 555.106 million), DJ (PKR 525.333 million), SP 500 (PKR 460.269 million), Natural Gas (PKR 132.037 million) and Copper (PKR 27.329 million).

In Agricultural Commodities, 8 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 7.393 million were traded.
