According to Radio Pakistan, Chief Executive Officer South Punjab Forest Company, Tahir Rasheed said with completion of the project, around 240 billion rupees will be added to national exchequer and government will also earn 20 billion rupees.
He said the project will also help reduce logging pressure on natural forests of the country.
Tahir Rasheed said Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur, Muzaffargarh, Bahawalpur and Rahim Yar Khan districts will be brought under forest cover through the project.
