KARACHI: On Monday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 11.215 billion and the number of lots traded at 8,239.

Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 5.205 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 2.150 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.362 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.143 billion), Natural Gas (PKR 408.966 million), Silver (PKR 314.851 million), Platinum (PKR 166.307 million), SP 500 (PKR 152.963 million), Japan Equity (PKR 135.175 million), DJ (PKR 124.148 million) and Copper (PKR 51.319 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 17 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 16.154 million were traded.
