Brazil plants 0.1pc of soy area

SAO PAULO: Brazilian farmers have planted 0.1% of their soybean area through the end of last week, agribusiness consultancy AgRural said on Monday, citing heat and low humidity as deterring growers of the oilseed.

Most of the sowing occurred in Paraná and Mato Grosso states, AgRural said.
