KARACHI: On Monday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 8.945 billion and the number of lots traded at 9,746.

Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 2.085 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 1.774 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.433 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.359 billion), Copper (PKR 644.662 million), DJ (PKR 544.811 million), Silver (PKR 480.890 million), Platinum (PKR 233.035 million), SP 500 (PKR 215.030 million), Natural Gas (PKR 150.870 million) and Japan Equity (PKR 22.641 million).

In Agriculture Commodities, one lot of Cotton amounting to PKR 0.767 million was traded.
