Asia’s naphtha cracks mixed

SINGAPORE: Asia’s naphtha crack dipped on Thursday, while gasoline crack rose amid a drop in oil prices.The naphtha crack was assessed at $133.38 per tonne, from $133.58 per tonne in the previous session.

The gasoline crack was assessed at $8.55 per barrel, from $8.31 per barrel in the previous session.

Singapore light distillates stocks rose 321,000 barrels to a three-month high of 14.573 million barrels in the week of July 14, according to data released on Thursday by Enterprise Singapore.

US gasoline stocks rose by 1 million barrels in the week to July 9, compared with expectations for a 1.8 million-barrel drop.

China’s crude oil throughput hit a record high in June, rising 3.9% on a daily basis from the previous record set in May as more refineries resumed operations after maintenance.
