KARACHI: On Wednesday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 10.706 billion and the number of lots traded at 10,486. Major business was contributed by Currencies through COTS amounting to PKR 3.699 billion, followed by Gold (PKR 3.184 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.577 billion), Silver (PKR 697.019 million), Crude Oil (PKR 652.731 million), Platinum (PKR 288.168 million), Copper (PKR 252.615 million), DJ (PKR 129.139 million), Japan Equity (PKR 98.943 million), Natural Gas (PKR 67.354 million) and SP 500 (PKR 59.215 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 5 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 3.348 million were traded.
