KARACHI: On Friday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 12.754 billion and the number of lots traded at 12,576.

Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 4.693 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 3.635 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.623 billion), Silver (PKR 828.008 million), Platinum (PKR 548.645 million), Crude Oil (PKR 379.806 million), DJ (PKR 367.053 million), Japan Equity (PKR 261.417 million), Copper (PKR 206.420 million), Natural Gas (PKR 106.839 million) and SP 500 (PKR 104.726 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 12 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 7.615 million were traded.
