Federal Information Minister tenders resignation

KARACHI: Federal Information Minister, Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan, has tendered her resignation here on Sunday.

She presented her resignation to Prime Minister, Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani, who chaired the 100th meeting of the federal cabinet at the Governor House here.

Awan, however, said that she would continue to be a worker and loyalist of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).
