LONDON: Green coffee stocks held in major European ports rose 1.0% during December 2020, European Coffee Federation (ECF) data showed on Wednesday.

Stocks at the end of December at 909,723 tonnes, up from 900,413 tonnes a month earlier.

Natural arabica stocks climbed 5.8% to 260,081 tonnes while washed arabica inventories rose 1.4% to 299,095 tonnes.

Robusta stocks, in contrast, fell by 2.6% to 350,548 tonnes.

ECF, in an annual report, published data for the end of each month in 2020 which showed total stocks fell to a low of 776,219 tonnes at the end of March and then rose to a peak of 926,651 tonnes at the end of August.
