KARACHI: Gold prices on Thursday slumped greatly on the local market, traders said. Following a fall of Rs1900, the yellow metal price further reduced to Rs104200 per tola.

Gold per 10 grams reduced by Rs1629 to Rs89335 on the domestic market.

The precious metal was quoted selling for $1713 per ounce on the world market.

Silver was traded for Rs1350 per tola; Rs1157.40 per 10 grams and $25.92 per ounce, traders said.
