WINNIPEG: ICE Canadian canola futures climbed on Thursday, lifted in sympathy with soyabeans, but lagged the advances of its rival oilseed.

Canola prices remain supported by strong export and domestic crushing demand, but it has retreated from 7-year highs seen in recent weeks.

Most-active May canola gained $4 to $688.50 per tonne.
