CHICAGO: Chicago Board of Trade corn ended higher on Thursday, lifted by new export sales, though gains were muted.

The most-active corn futures contract added 2-1/4 cents to end at $5.24-1/4 per bushel.

The US Department of Agriculture reported private sales of 336,500 tonnes of US corn to unknown destinations for shipment in the 2020/21 season.
