KARACHI: On Thursday, at PMEX the traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 8.729 billion and the number of lots traded 8,753.
Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 3.639 billion, followed by currencies through COTS PKR 1.506 billion, NSDQ 100 PKR 1.115 billion, DJ PKR 793.466 million, silver PKR 664.851 million, copper PKR 314.178 million, natural gas PKR 242.342 million, crude oil PKR 241.005 million, platinum PKR 184.620 million and SP500 PKR 27.032 million.
In agricultural commodities, 6 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 3.534 million were traded.
