KARACHI: On Friday, at PMEX the traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 7.639 billion and the number of lots traded 9,316.
Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 3.364 billion, followed by DJ PKR 970.425 million, silver PKR 785.123 million, currencies through COTS PKR 748.852 million, NSDQ 100 PKR 638.459 million, copper PKR 456.368 million, platinum PKR 388.182 million, natural gas PKR 169.642 million, crude oil PKR 100.470 million and SP500 PKR 18.362 million.
In agriculture commodities, 12 lots of wheat amounting to PKR 61.215 million, 3 lots of soybean amounting to PKR 25.984 million, 2 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 11.532 million and 2 lot of corn amounting to PKR 6.729 million were traded.
