Global zinc market deficit narrows in December but widens in 2017

In 2017, the zinc market deficit was 495,000 tonnes compared with a deficit of 122,000 tonnes in the same period in the prior year.

ILZSG said total refined zinc stocks, including those held by consumers, producers and in exchange warehouses, rose to 1,024.70 tonnes at the end of December from 1,045.60 tonnes at the end of November.
