CBOT corn futures rise

CHICAGO: Chicago Board of Trade corn futures advanced on Wednesday on spillover support from gains in the neighboring wheat and soybean markets, analysts said.

Most-active CBOT corn hit its highest since Jan. 24, peaking at $3.92 a bushel.

CBOT wheat and soybeans climbed to multi-year highs on concerns about dry weather affecting production in key exporting nations.

Consultancy ProAgro cut its Ukraine 2020 grain harvest forecast to 69.44 million tonnes from the previous forecast of 71.34 million tonnes due to a smaller corn output.
