South Korea's KFA buys about 131,000 tonnes corn in tender
- Seller of 65,000 tonnes was believed to be trading house Glencore while another 66,000 tonnes was said to have been bought from Cargill.

HAMBURG: The Korea Feed Association (KFA) purchased an estimated 131,000 tonnes of animal feed corn expected to be sourced from South America in an international tender which closed on Thursday, European traders said in initial assessments.
It was all purchased at an estimated $242.79 a tonne c&f, traders said.
Seller of 65,000 tonnes was believed to be trading house Glencore while another 66,000 tonnes was said to have been bought from Cargill.
The corn was sought for arrival in South Korea around Feb. 28, 2021. Shipment from South America was sought between December 2020, and January 2021.
