ACB officials, Umpire reportedly killed in Ghanikhil blast

As many as 13 people including seven members of Afghan Cricket Board (ACB) and elite Umpire were reportedly killed when a car bomb exploded in Afghanistan's Nangarhar province.

As per details, the incident took place in Ghanikhil district.

The Nangarhar Governor's spokesman confirming the casualties said some gunmen wanted to enter the district Governor's compound but were killed by security forces.

A member of Nangahar provincial council said at least eight of those killed in the attack are civilians.

At least 13 people were killed and 30 more were wounded in a car bomb explosion in Ghanikhil district, Nangarhar province, this afternoon, Nangarhar governor's spokesman Ataullah Khogyani said.

Bismillah Jan Shinwari, 36, officiated six One-day Internationals (ODI) since debuting in 2017.
