Worldwide coronavirus deaths cross 1mn, cases exceed 33.63mn

More than one million people have died globally due to the novel coronavirus and over 33.63 million have been reported to be infected, according to a Reuters tally.

Infections have been reported in more than 210 countries and territories since the first cases were identified in China in December 2019.
