KARACHI: On Monday, PMEX traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 6.428 billion and the number of lots traded was 10,005.
Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 3.790 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 PKR 587.579 million, currencies through COTS PKR 530.720 million, platinum PKR 443.384 million, silver PKR 359.920 million, DJ PKR 299.973 million, natural gas PKR 243.247 million, crude oil PKR 135.777 million, SP500 PKR 32.497 million and copper PKR 5.461 million.
In agriculture commodities, 4 lots of wheat amounting to PKR 18.175 million, 3 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 16.433 million and one lot of soybean amounting to PKR 8.296 million was traded.
