KAMPALA: The Ugandan shilling weakened slightly on Thursday, undercut by a moderate uptick in demand for hard currency among players in the interbank market.

At 0908GMT commercial banks quoted the shilling at 3,700/3,710, compared to Wednesday's close of 3,685/3,695.
