Mexican pesos falls more than 1pc to 22/dlr amid concerns about rising coronavirus cases

MEXICO CITY: The Mexican pesos depreciated in value by more than 1pc on Wednesday amid the strengthening of the US dollar and concerns about rising coronavirus cases across Latin America.

The local currency was trading at 21.970 per dollar, marking a loss of 1.16pc from one day earlier.
