CBOT corn futures fall

CHICAGO: Chicago Board of Trade corn futures dropped 2.1% from a six-month high on Monday as funds exited long positions on a risk-off trading day.

The decline, the biggest percentage drop for corn since Aug. 4, snapped a three-day streak of higher closes.

Traders said that concerns about rising global coronavirus cases sparked a broad commodities sell-off.
