KARACHI: On Wednesday, PMEX traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 10.890 billion and the number of lots traded 13,140.
Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 6.387 billion, followed by currencies through COTS PKR 1.203 billion, NSDQ 100 PKR 862.823 million, copper PKR 685.331 million, silver PKR 507.412 million, natural gas PKR 453.452 million, DJ PKR 370.161 million, platinum PKR 206.114 million, crude oil PKR 174.374 million and SP500 PKR 39.689 million.
In agriculture commodities, one lot soybean amounting to PKR 8.350 million 4 lots of cotton amounting to PKR 7.210 million were traded.
