KARACHI: On Friday, PMEX traded value of metals, energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 11.724 billion and the number of lots traded was 12,967.
Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 5.334 billion, followed by NSDQ 100 PKR 2.713 billion, copper PKR 1.100 billion, silver PKR 785.634 million, currencies through COTS PKR 584.788 million, DJ PKR 579.238 million, natural gas PKR 224.352 million, crude oil PKR 166.104 million, platinum PKR 142.250 million and SP500 PKR 93.665 million.
In agriculture commodities one lot of soybean value at PKR 7.998 million and one lot of cotton amounting to PKR 0.531 million were traded.
